Fun times

Apparently I got selected to go help our Swedish friends beat some old piece of code into usable state. At first I thought it'll be 2-3 days per week for a couple of months but now it seems it'll last for at least a year and we need to be there several weeks at a time. Not that I have anything against that, it's just quite a bit more than I expected.

Probably the biggest hurdle will be for me to get used to following an actual dress code. Until now I've worn anything that feels comfortable. I don't think I've used my suit for some five years. Another potential source of infinite amusement will be the arrangements. We were told we are expected to be there by Tuesday, when we asked who arranges the flight and living no one knew. They suggested it'll be arranged on Monday. Maybe it's just me but I don't have too much trust in getting stuff arranged in a day.

One thing is for sure, it'll be an interesting experience :)

I used to have two posts here separated by about a year or so. As they didnt contain much useful stuff I removed them to make room for new stuff that I'll hopefully end up adding a bit more frequently. At the moment I don't plan on having any special theme to it, I'll just add random stuff as I find something interesting or want to mark up something
